The source says that the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 mobile processor will be using the same TSMC N3P process as the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 and the upcoming processor features Qualcomm’s custom Oryon CPU architecture, with support for the SME (Scalable Matrix Extension) instruction set for on-device AI acceleration.
It is also reported that popular smartphone manufacturers are already betting on this upcoming mobile processor. The upcoming chipset will bridge between flagship devices.
