The latest Asus Vivobook S16 Copilot+ PC is confirmed to be announced in India and the same will be official tomorrow which means on September 8. The device will be available through Flipkart and the official website of the brand. A listing is already live on the official website of Asus in India and it reveals the full specifications. Asus has also confirmed that the device will be available with a limited launch deal for the first 200 buyers. Those first 200 customers will be getting two extra years of warranty, three years of accidental damage protection, and a Mokobara laptop sleeve. The bundle is worth Rs 8,098 and can be claimed for Rs 1.
The Asus Vivobook S16 features a metallic design and the device will be available in Cool Silver, Matte Gray, Sage Green, Rose Gold, Bff Peachy, and Salvia Green colour options. The laptop houses a 70Wh battery that will offer up to 32 hours of backup and supports USB Type-C fast charging that delivers 60 percent in 49 minutes.
It has the power of the Snapdragon X X1 26 100 processor with 8 cores and 8 threads along with the Qualcomm Hexagon NPU with up to 45 TOPS and the Qualcomm Adreno GPU. The device also comes with RAM options including 16GB or 32GB LPDDR5X, and storage comes in 512GB or 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD.
The device will be available in multiple display options including a 16-inch WUXGA OLED panel with 1920 x 1200 resolution, 0.2ms response time, 95 percent DCI-P3 coverage, and TÜV Rheinland certification, or a 16-inch 2.5K IPS-level panel with 2560 x 1600 resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, 400 nits brightness, and 100 percent sRGB coverage. Both will support an 89 percent screen-to-body ratio.
It will be including features like a backlit chiclet keyboard with num-key and a dedicated Copilot key, a 1080p webcam with privacy shutter, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, HDMI 2.1, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, two USB 4.0 Type-C ports, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The laptop also comes with US MIL-STD 810H durability standards and the device runs on Windows 11 and Copilot AI features.
