Elon Musk owned Starlink is making noise for the past few months in India and now the company has finally revealed the pricing information. The company has already secured the approval from India’s space regulator, and without making any further delay let’s check out the pricing information.
It is officially announced that there will be a single residential plan in the country and we believe that the company might add more plans in the future. The company has announced that the pricing of the package will be Rs 8,600 per month, and it is worth mentioning that there will be an additional hardware cost.
The company is also offering 30 days of trial as well. Starlink requires its own proprietary equipment, so you need to purchase the hardware as well. The bundle includes the antenna, router, cables, and power supply, and it’s priced at Rs 34,000 in India. So the total cost for the initial set up will be Rs 42,000.
It is promised that the service will offer unlimited data along with 99.9 percent uptime, and it will be supporting all-weather operation.
Having said that, the satellite internet connectivity will be the new game in India as India’s Department of Telecommunications has cleared three companies to move forward. Alongside Starlink, Bharti Group–backed Eutelsat OneWeb and Jio’s satellite arm have also received the green signal in the country.
So let’s wait for the official announcement of the service and you guys are recommended to stick with us for more updates at your fingertips.
