It is officially announced that the Red Magic Gaming Tablet 5 Pro will launch globally as the Red Magic Astra 2. The specifications will be the same as the Chinese variant.
The upcoming device will come with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset along with the capability of offering “full frame rates” in over 100 major games.
It will also feature a 9.06-inch BOE X10 OLED display along with a 185Hz refresh rate, 2.4K resolution, and 1600 nits of peak brightness. The device also features a Synaptics S3930 touch chip that helps with precise, responsive controls. For stable performance during long gaming sessions, the device comes with liquid cooling and a piezoelectric micro-pump. The liquid cooling loop is also enhanced with RGB lighting effects as well.
The device will be featuring dual USB-C ports with 80W fast charging, reverse charging, and the device has the ability of a new Steam direct connection mode for easier PC emulator integration.
