Earlier we can able to chat with our near and dear ones on the Facebook main app without downloading the Messenger app separately, but the company removed that functionality from the main Facebook app. This made users forced to download the Messenger App to keep in touch with their near and loved ones. Well, now it seems that the company is all set to bring back the functionality into the main app.
Jane Wong, the very popular tipster and the specialized in app reverse engineering has gathered the evidence which shows that the social networking giant Facebook integrating the chat functionality into its main app, the feature is coming back to the main application after five years, as the company removed this functionality in 2014.

Having said that, Wong says that the chat functionality in the main Facebook application will be limited to the simple text conversation only, if you want to use advanced features then you need to download the Messenger app. That means, if you want to make calls or send stickers and more, you need Messenger app or if you only want to communicate with text messages then you can carry out that in the main Facebook app.
As of now, we don’t have information about the availability of this functionality but we are keeping our eye on the Facebook app and we will update you once the company rolls out the update. Stay tuned with us!
