The most speculated iQOO 8 flagship is likely to debut as the first snapdragon 888 plus phone on August 4 in China. iQOO president recently shared a video on a Chinese microblogging website named Weibo, a pool table with a ball number 8 hitting and sinking a four number ball probably indicating the launch of the model iQOO 8 on August 4.The front design of the model has revealed at the china joy 2021 tech exhibition ahead of the launch.
The iQOO 8 is rumoured to come with a 2K E5 AMOLED LTPO display with a resolution of 1440×3200 pixels and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The tech exhibition reveals the curved edge display of the model with a punch hole at the centre. It is based on Android 11 and has 256GB of inbuilt storage. The phone will have a 120 W charging speed with a 4,000 mAh battery.
According to the sources, it is expected to have 12GB of RAM and 4GB of extended RAM. It will mark as the first smartphone to use Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 plus SoC.
