Acer is bringing lots of new products during the ongoing CES 2023 event and now the company has introduced its new gaming laptops and monitors. So without making any further delay let’s dive into the article to check out the complete details of the newly announced devices.
Acer Predator Helios 16 & Predator Helios 18
The new Acer Predator Helios 18 and Predator Helios 16 devices are coming with the power of either a 13th Gen Intel Core i7 or Core i9 HX series processor along with up to an Nvidia RTX 4080 GPU and the same having a MGP of 165W. It is also coming with up to 32GB of DDR5 4800MHz RAM and up to 2TB of PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD in RAID 0 format.
The latest Acer Predator Helios 16 features a 16 inch WQXGA display along with 2560 X 1600 pixels resolution along with a 165Hz or 240Hz refresh rate but can even be configured with a Mini LED panel that has a 250Hz refresh rate. It is also offering 1,000 nits of peak brightness along with 100 percent DCI P3 color gamut, and a 1,000,000:1 high contrast ratio.
On the other hand, the new Acer Predator Helios 18 features an 18 inch display with WUXGA (1920×1200) at 165Hz, WQXGA (2560×1600) at 165Hz or 240Hz, or an AUO 250Hz Mini LED display.
The new laptops are featuring a mini LED backlit keyboard with 1.8mm key travel and anti ghosting N-Key rollover and the same is also featuring per key RGB backlit.
Acer Predator X45 & Predator X27U
The company has also introduced its new Acer Predator X45 and Predator X27U and the former features a 45 inch display while the latter offers a 27 inch display. Acer Predator X45 features a UWQHD resolution with 800R curved panel along with an ultra wide viewing as well as narrow frames and a 98.5 DCI P3 color gamut.
It is also featuring DisplayPort 1.4, two HDMI 2.0 ports, and TÜV Rheinland EyeSafe certification. The monitor features an OLED display that supports HDR10 and offers a peak brightness of 1000 nits.
On the other hand, the Predator X27U is coming with a flat WQHD panel with a 98.5 percent DCI P3 color gamut. It is also featuring TÜV Rheinland EyeSafe certification and 1000 nits of peak brightness as well as the HDR10. The newly introduced two monitors are also featuring 240Hz refresh rate and 0.01ms pixel response time.
Acer Chromebox mini-PC specs
Acer has also introduced its Chromebook mini PC and the same is coming with up to a 12th Gen Intel Core i7 processor and it is coming with Google’s operating system.
It features four USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports and a few USB 4 Gen 3 Type-C input/outputs. It is also coming with two HDMI 2.1 connections. The Acer Chromebook mini PC is also supporting Intel Wi-Fi 6E (Gig+) technology.
Acer “Add-In-One” 24-inch monitor
The company has also introduced the Add-In-One 24 and the same offers a 24-inch Full HD display with a specific dock to accommodate the Chromebox CXI5. It is also featuring a built-in 5MP webcam along with two 4W speakers, and AI noise cancellation.
It also enables users to tilt the screen from a range of -5 degrees to 25 degrees and that means you can adjust according to your going angle. It is also coming with two USB-A ports and an audio jack.
Talking about the pricing and availability, the Acer Predator Helios 16 will be available from March this year at a starting price of $1,649.99. On the other hand, the Predator Helios 18 will be official in April and it will be available with a price tag of ₹1,699. The Acer Predator X45 will go on sale sometime in Q2 2023 with a pricing of ₹1,699 and the Acer Predator X27U will be available in Q2 in North America for $1,099.
