It is said that Amazon will be offering advertisements on the Amazon Prime Video streaming platform and the company will be starting the new system to boost its revenue from the early days of next year.
The online streaming platform will be supporting advertisements in the United States along with the UK and Germany as well as Canada from the early days of next year, before France, Italy, Spain, Mexico, and Australia during 2024.
It is also revealed that the price of the standard Prime subscription will remain unchanged but the platform will enable subscribers to select for ad-free content with an additional fee.
The online streaming platform will be asking the ad-free fee of $2.99 per month in the United States and the pricing for other markets will be revealed later.
