Amazon has officially announced to shutdown its Appstore for Android devices, and the company will also close its Amazon Coins program. So let’s get into the article to check out the end date of the service.
It is officially announced that the Amazon Appstore for Android and it will not be available from August 20, 2025. It is worth mentioning that the developers can be able to continue offering new updates for existing apps until the date.
However, the company has stopped new submissions and users will be losing their access to the store on Android devices after the shutdown, and the Google Play Store will be the default marketplace for most.
Apart from that, the company is also closing its digital currency program dubbed Amazon Coins and the company has said that the unused Coins will be refunded.
