It also supports 1080p Full HD streaming, with fallback to 720p at up to 60 fps. HDR formats include HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG. On the codec side, the device can manage H.265, H.264, VP9, and AV1. It also supports Dolby formats such as AC-3, E-AC-3, and E-AC3_JOC through HDMI pass-through.
The device has the power of a quad-core 1.7 GHz processor along with 8 GB of storage. The device supports Wi-Fi 6 along with Bluetooth 5.3 and Bluetooth Low Energy for accessories.
It also comes with the updated Fire TV interface that reorganises content into sections like movies, TV shows, live TV, sports, and news. It is also supported with Alexa+ in the US, Canada, and the UK.
The device also supports cloud gaming services such as Amazon Luna and Xbox Game Pass. The device also comes with an Adaptive Display feature but it will be rolling out in the near future.
