The newly announced AMD 9950X3D is the flagship chipset and the same features 16 Zen 5 CPU cores with a max boost frequency of 5.7GHz and 144MB of total cache. It also comes with the 2nd-gen AMD 3D V-cache and it is claimed to be 8% faster than the 7950X3D and 20% faster than the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K.
The new X3D chips feature 3D-stacked SRAM under one of their two dies to boost gaming performance. The latest Ryzen 9 9000 series chipsets provide better performance in heavier content creation or productivity use cases.
