The Mountain View company Google introduced the latest Android 17 QPR1 Beta 3 just a couple of days ago, and the company introduced some changes, including the updated version of the media app switcher, which is now more convenient.
Currently, the media app switcher is available in the notification shade, and it requires you to swipe left and right to switch between active media apps. However, the upcoming Android 17 will feature a new, more convenient switching style.
In the updated UI, Android minimizes the other media apps into tiny cards, and this makes things more convenient as well as reducing the possibility of a mistake. The minimised audio applications take up more space, which will force the active music app tab to become smaller and consequently smaller player controls.
We need to wait for the final version of this particular setup, as it might be changed in the final version of the Android 17 operating system.
