Andy Rubin Shutting Down Essential

Andy Rubin is the co-founder of the world’s most favourite mobile operating system – Android, started his own smartphone brand in 2017 and launched an Essential PH-1 smartphone. The smartphone received a great welcome by the smartphone lovers and it was believed that the company will be a prominent member of the industry.

But today it is officially confirmed that Andy Rubin is shutting down Essential smartphone brand and owners of the Essential phone will no longer get any software update which means February security update is the last OTA. Well, that means the users of the Essential phone will not get any more bug fixes, security updates, and also customer support.
