Back in March, Apple launched AirPods 2, the successor of their original AirPods. But many thinks that this is not a true successor because there aren’t a lot of difference between both. And personally also I felt that in AirPods 2 there should be in-ear design rather than the regular design. Seems like Apple also wants to do the same as today they unveiled the new AirPods Pro. So is this a true successor to the original AirPods and is it a true ‘Pro’? Let’s find out.
Design:
Starting off with design, as we talked earlier the very first thing to notice is that now this Apple AirPods Pro has in-ear buds, which we can see in most of the earphones available in the market. Having in-ear buds is surely a very good thing because it’s very relaxing for our ears as compared to current Apple AirPods and even wired earphones. Apart from the buds, this new AirPods now have 2 microphones. One for obviously taking calls & recording sound, and other for noise-cancelling. That’s another major difference here. Then there’s an opposite mode named as ‘Transparency Mode’ which enhance the background noise, helping to use it in public space.
Features:
For music listening there’s ‘Adaptive EQ’ which changes the sound settings like bass, treble, mid, highs, etc. based on the music played. The bass will automatically boosted in good manner for thumping music, and so on. There’s support for Siri as well. And as we saw on earlier Apple AirPods, this one is also QI wireless charging certified. Talking about charging, these AirPods Pro can also get charged via the case itself within an hour. On a single charge it can be used for around 4.5 hours. The fully charged case can give 24 hours of charge to the AirPods. Lastly, it’s water resistance making it adequate for using while gym and work.
Pricing & Availability:
- This Apple AirPods Pro is priced at $249
- It will be available worldwide from October 30th via Apple stores and other offline/online retailers.
