Apple has updated the Apple Maps with a new capability of web version and this is bringing the support of the map to Windows and LINUX. The web version of Apple Maps will be expanded to more users. It will also support navigation features and enable users to get an ETA to reach a specific location as well.
It is worth mentioning that the service is currently available as a public beta and you can officially access the maps through your computers. The Apple Maps were restricted to iOS along with iPadOS and MacOS devices.
The web version of Apple Maps will definitely bring more users on the board and the same will enable users to search for new locations along with the ability to get directions to a certain location and other basic navigation features as well. The Apple Maps include data on Indian locations that will enable users to search for nearby restaurants along with Malls, petrol stations, and more.
It is also said that the web version of Apple Maps will be available across the popular browsers including Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge as well. The beta version of Apple Maps is currently available in English language only but we believe that the company will be adding more regional languages in India very soon.
Apple has also provided the APIs of Apple Maps web to software developers and this with enable them to integrate the Apple Maps into third party services as well.
