After bringing the world’s most favourite video hub – YouTube on the platform of Amazon Fire TV, now the company is bringing the Apple TV app on the platform. The company has announced that the Apple TV app available on Amazon Fire TV streaming devices across the globe and the move came just before the start of Apple TV+ service on November 1.
The arrival of Apple TV app on the Fire TV platform will allow users to get all the functionality of Apple TV set top box and the Apple TV app just like on other platforms the app. It will allow you to watch exclusive shows as well as allow to purchase or rent movies and shows from the iTunes Media Library.
Apple TV app will be available on Fire TV Stick (2nd gen) and Fire TV Stick 4K across the globe including in India, and the Fire TV Basic Edition along with Fire TV-enabled smart TVs and soundbars from other companies will also get the app. However, the first-gen Fire TV Stick and the original Fire TV devices will not get the Apple TV app.
How to Download the Apple TV app
Users need to ask the Alexa enabled voice remote to find the Apple TV app and after the application downloaded and installed you can launch it with your voice command.
