Along with the latest MacBook Pro and Apple AirPods 3, Apple updated the Apple HomePod Mini – its smart speaker. The company didn’t announce a successor of the device but launched 3 new colour options and this will enable users to purchase a perfect colour variant to match their space.
Back in last year, the company unveiled HomePod Mini in two colours – Space Gray and White. Today, the company unveiled the smart speaker in three new colour options and includes Blue, Yellow, and Orange. Apart from the colour changes, the internal remains the same as the original version.
Specifications of Apple HomePod Mini
The device is coming with touch-sensitive top, with play, pause, and volume controls, and the same illuminates when you activate the digital assistant i.e. Siri. The latest smart speaker of Apple is also coming with a full range dynamic driver, as well as two high excursion passive radiators, and the same is meant for some extra bass, it is also capable to deliver 360-degree sound, and the latest smart speaker can pair multiple HomePod Minis together.
It is coming with a 3.3-inch tall and the Siri on the HomePod Mini can identify the voices of each member of your house, and can access the apps in your iPhone. It is also coming with a feature called intercom and that will allow you to send a message from one smart speaker to another which is placed in a different room of your home and the same will work with every other Apple device as well as service.
Apple is also focused on the privacy of the user in the latest HomePod Mini smart speaker and it will only save your audio if you are allowed for that. Speaking about the supported services, the smart speaker currently supports Apple Music, iHeartRadio, radio.com, and TuneIn for now, while in the future Pandora and Amazon Music will join.
It’s powered by the Apple S5 chip, which enables computational audio and that will provide you nice sound and that will also provide loud and dynamic range in real time based on what is playing.

It is still priced at $99 and the device will begin shipping in November.
