This week we witnessed Google’s annual Google I/0 developer conference, during the event Sundar Pichai the CEO of Google has made lots of new announcements. So, in this article I’ll cover the top and announcements of tThis week we witnessed Google’s annual Google I/0 developer conference, during the event Sundar Pichai the CEO of Googlehe event.

Android O:

After giving preview version of Android O, to some limited ones. The mountain view company has officially launched beta program of upcoming OS, the new OS can be download by heading to this link.

Android Go:

Google announced another OS called Android Go, which is not an entirely different OS. With the Android Go, Google focusing low-end smartphones.

The Android Go will light and it will not eat RAM, this will give hang free experience to those who have low-end smartphones. The OS is expected to hit the market by the end of year, click here to know more about the new OS.

Google Lens:

Google Lens can pick up on imagery from the camera of your device, and use Assistant to bring all the important information. With this you can do things like automatically connect to Wi-Fi with a quick snap of the SSID, and you can even show ratings for restaurants by just pointing your camera. In other words, Google wants to turn your smartphone’s camera into a search box. Click here to know more.

Google Assistant:

Google Assistant which was first introduced in last, with the company’s first smartphone called Google Pixel and Pixel XL. Now the company has updated the Assistant with many new features, now you can just type in Assistant to perform a particular task instead of using your voice. This will really handy especially we are sitting between a lot of people around us and using voice is not comfortable.

With Google Assistant now you can easily travel anywhere in the world, as now it has an option of translating words and sentences that digital assistant. You have to tap the Google Lens icon, point the camera at the text and rest of the things will do by Assistant. The Assistant also make things easier for users, as now if you point camera on a ad of a music concert. Then Assistant will recognize the band, and it will also give option to book ticket for the show, or add to the Calendar.

Android Instant Apps:

Google introduced instant Apps back in last year, and early in this year the company started testing instant Apps with limited developers. And now during the event, the company has finally announced Android Instant Apps are now available to all the developers.

The mountain view company has said, it rolls out support for the instant Apps to more devices and countries soon. The company also said it will expand the support to the devices which are running on Android Lollipop v5.0 shortly, this feature is already available for the Android Marshmallow devices.
