Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey has officially introduced a new messaging application that will give a head-to-head competition against the popular messaging applications, including WhatsApp. The highlighting element of the new messaging application is its ability to work even without an active internet connection.
The new Bitchat is a new peer-to-peer messaging app and it is a privacy-focused messaging app. The application is currently available on TestFlight for iPhone users. The latest Bitchat has the power of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) mesh networks that enable smartphones to create localised clusters and share encrypted messages from one device to another.
It is also said that the new application will keep the complete data on the device of a user and it will be deleted after a short period. So the latest application is entirely different from the popular messaging applications such as WhatsApp or Telegram, which rely on servers and require creating an account using email or phone number.
We believe that the application will make its entry on the Android platform very soon and don’t forget to share your thoughts about the new application in the comments section below.
