BlackBerry Evolve Debuts In India With Dual Cameras And More

Just yesterday, BlackBerry teased the launch of the BlackBerry Evolve and BlackBerry Evolve X in the Indian market. Well, now the BlackBerry Evolve has launched the smartphone. That said, the device doesn’t have the company’s signature physical QWERTY keyboard. So, let’s check out the specification, pricing, and availability of the smartphone.

Specification of BlackBerry Evolve

The BlackBerry Evolve sports 5.99-inch Full-HD+ and has 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution, along with an 18:9 aspect ratio and protected with the Gorilla Glass 5. It is powered by 1.8 GHz octa core Snapdragon 450 processor and paired with 4 GB RAM, along with Adreno 506 GPU for the graphical task. In terms of storage, the device has 64 GB internal storage and can be expandable via MicroSD card.

Moving to the camera department, the BlackBerry Evolve has a dual camera setup at the back and it is in the combination of 13 megapixel (RGB) + 13 megapixel (Monochrome) with dual-tone LED flash. The smartphone also has 16 megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture. The device supports the fingerprint scanner and DTEK Security to give the best security solution.

In terms of connectivity, the smartphone supports 4G VoLTE, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3.5 mm headphone jack, and USB Type-C. The device or runs on Android Oreo 8.1 and it is backed on 4,000 mAh battery to keep the lights on.

Pricing and availability of BlackBerry Evolve

The device has the price tag of ₹24,990 and it will be available in the country later this month via Amazon India.
