The trend of smartphones is on the peak right now. Many new companies are trying there best to become a brand in the smartphone industry by giving value for money smartphones. But there are some well established brands out there who are far away from the word value for money. They usually skip many features from there budget and midrange smartphones. Some of the features are very necessary for people. Like Samsung usually skip almost all sensors in there budget and midrange line-up. There’s another brand which do the kind of same thing with not only there budget & midrange smartphones, but also with there flagships. That brand is ‘BlackBerry’. Many people knows that BlackBerry hasn’t given any phone with Dual SIM support. But seems like things are going to change now. Leaks of a new BlackBerry smartphone is surfaced on twitter. So let’s have a look at the specs of the same.
This new device is codenamed as BBC100-1. So this BBC100-1 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 425 octa core processor clocked at 1.4Ghz, it’s any entry level budget processor that can’t give a great performance. It sports a 5.5” HD 720p display with 267 PPI. On the storage side it has 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. Coming to camera it has a 13MP rear facing camera and 8MP front facing camera, sensor used in both cameras is unknown. Regarding battery it has 3000mah battery capacity. And finally as I said earlier, for the first time in a BlackBerry smartphone, Dual SIM support will be there.
So that’s all the leaks we have right now. Currently we don’t have any other information of BBC100-1 right now like software, images, pricing and availability. This phone is expected to launch in MWC next month along with there Flagship codenamed Mercury. Stay tuned with us for more information.
