One of the most needed features arrives on WhatsApp, the developers of the world’s most favourite instant messaging app rolls out the call waiting on the messenger and it is now available on the platform of Android. WhatsApp has rolled out the feature on Android after bringing it on the iOS in last month.
The developers of WhatsApp have rolled out the new call waiting feature on both the beta as well as the stable version of the instant messenger, and as the name suggest, you will get alert whenever you receive a WhatsApp call in the middle of another WhatsApp call with someone else.
You will get the new feature in 2.19.352 version of the stable Android app and 2.19.357 as well as 2.19.358 version of the beta app. Once you update the messenger to the latest version, you will get alert when someone calls when you are busy with some other call. You will see a green ‘End and Accept’ button along with the ‘Decline’ button in red colour, if you press the decline button then the incoming call will be cancelled and you can carry on with the ongoing call.
On the other hand, if you press the ‘End and Accept’ button then your current call will be disconnected and you will be connected with the new call. Unfortunately, the developers did not include the hold feature and if it will be there then we can able to attend the incoming call without disconnecting the current call. We believe that the feature will be introduced in the future version of the app.
So, what are you waiting for? Head to the Google Play Store to update the WhatsApp to the latest version and utilize the benefit of the new call waiting feature.
