The most favourite instant messaging application of the planet WhatsApp, seems to keep themselves busy in rolling out new features. Recently, we told you about WhatsApp is all set to implement message recall and edit feature for the Android users. And today, we have got a report that says WhatsApp will soon let you allow to track in-real time location of your friend.
According to the source, the new features can be spot on the beta version 2.16.399 on the Android users and 2.17.3.28 for the iOS users. With the new feature, you can able to see the real time location of your friend (who is in a group). This feature will really come handy, if you have planned a party or hangout with your group members. And if anybody coming late then you can easily check the location of your friend.
The location tracking can be enabled for 1 minute, 2 minutes or 5 minutes. or you can keep it on permanently. And yeah privacy matters, so if you don’t want other’s track your location, then you can disable it. Right now this feature is disabled by WhatsApp and it will available only when they turn it on from there servers. We don’t know when will WhatsApp will roll out this feature for the public, anyways let’s wait for the new features and that’s the only thing we can do.
