Recently, the instant messaging application WhatsApp increased the group limit to 1024 members and now the company is working on a new feature that will reduce overload of messages notification.
It is reported that WhatsApp is testing a new feature in the latest beta version for Android and that will automatically mute large WhatsApp groups.
The instant messaging application will mute notifications of messages automatically if your group is having more than 256 members and this will help users to reduce notification overload.
But if you want to continue to receive messages then you need to enable the same manually by long pressing on the group chat from the chat listing menu and you need to select the unmute option.
