The popular American computer maker Dell has introduced its new laptops during the ongoing CES 2023 event and the devices are dubbed Dell Alienware M18 & Dell Alienware M16. So let’s dive into the article to check out what the devices offer out-of-the-box.
Let’s start with the Dell Alienware M18, it is featuring an 18-inch display with two panels – a QHD+ resolution with a 165Hz refresh rate and another with an FHD+ resolution with a 480Hz refresh rate. It is also featuring a 3ms response time along with 300 nits brightness, 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut, and ComfortView Plus technology.
It is also featuring a new Legend 3.0 design and the same is claimed to offer a beefy performance. It is also coming with two full-sized keyboards – Perkey AlienFX backlit or CherryMX ultra-low profile mechanical backlit keyboard. The device is also featuring a 720p webcam with IR sensors.
The newly announced Dell Alienware M18 is powered by up to 13th generation Intel Core i9 processors along with Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 GPU and the same will also available with AMD Ryzen and Radeon CPU and GPU later this year. It is also coming with up to 64GB DDR5 RAM and 9TB SSD storage and the laptop is also coming with two user-replaceable DDR5 SO-DIM slots.
It is also featuring an Element 31 thermal interface that includes seven heat pipes, expanded vapour chambers, and four ultra-thin fans for better cooling performance. It is housing a 97Wh battery along with 330W power adapter in the box.
The company has also introduced a 16 inch variant of the laptop which is dubbed Dell Alienware M16 and the same is having the same specifications as the M18 except for the screen size.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the pricing of the Dell Alienware M18 starts at $2,099 in the US.
