MediaTek has officially introduced its new chipsets dubbed the new Dimensity 7450 and Dimensity 7450X. So let’s get into the article to learn the complete details of the new chipsets.
Everything about Dimensity 7450 and Dimensity 7450X
Both chipsets share specifications and they come with a 4nm-class process along with an octa-core CPU setup with four Cortex-A78 cores clocked at up to 2.6GHz and four Cortex-A55 efficiency cores. The chipsets are paired with the ARM Mali-G615 MC2 GPU for the graphical task.
The latest chipsets are integrated with sixth-generation NPU to improve on-device AI processing. The AI engine of the chipsets feature up to 7 percent better performance compared to previous-generation chips while improving efficiency for AI camera features and other AI capabilities.
MediaTek has introduced the latest chipsets with MediaTek HyperEngine technology and Adaptive Gaming Technology 3.0. The chipsets also support Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, and 5G download speeds of up to 3.27Gbps with 3CC carrier aggregation support.
Speaking about the camera capabilities, both processors support up to 200-megapixel camera sensors through the Imagiq 950 ISP and the chipsets are supporting 4K HDR video recording, hardware-assisted noise reduction, and Google Ultra HDR imaging support. The chipsets are capable of offering up to WFHD+ resolution at 120Hz and Full HD+ panels at up to 144Hz refresh rates.
Both the newly announced Dimensity 7450 and Dimensity 7450X support LPDDR5 and LPDDR4X RAM, with memory speeds of up to 6400Mbps, along with UFS 2.2 and UFS 3.1 storage standards.
Having said that, the Dimensity 7450X processor also includes some extra features that are designed for foldable devices. MediaTek says the chip supports dual-display functionality for flip-style foldables.
