The popular mobile chipset maker Qualcomm and Mediatek are gearing up to launch their flagship mobile processor, and the upcoming chipsets will be called the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 and Dimensity 9500. Today, the benchmarking scores of the upcoming Dimensity 9500 flagship mobile processor appear online. According to DCS, the Dimensity 9500 scores over 3,900 in single-core and exceeds 11,000 in multi-core tests on Geekbench 6. The Dimensity 9500 also features the new Immortalis-Drage GPU that will offer better ray tracing performance.
It was recently reported that the upcoming Dimensity 9500 will be designed on TSMC’s N3P process and the CPU will come with the newly designed all-big-core layout with an 8-core structure: 1 Travis core, 3 Alto cores, and 4 Gelas cores.
The upcoming Dimensity 9500 is reported to feature 16MB of L3 cache and 10MB of system-level cache. The processor will come with 4-channel LPDDR5x RAM at 10,667Mbps and UFS 4.1 storage via a 4-lane interface.
