One by one we are getting leaks and rumours of the features of upcoming Samsung Galaxy S11 series. We got information on cameras and chipset. Though the chipset part is sort of obvious because we know that Samsung launches the S series with latest flagship processor. But camera is a suspicious element for us and we are yet to know a lot about it. Another interesting factor here is the screen size, because this series contains multiple variants and screen size is one major element to differentiate.
Today we got a report which tells us about the screen size of all variants of Galaxy S11 series. Starting with how many variants will be there, the answer for this is three. These three are Galaxy S11, S11+, and S11E. The S11 sits in the middle of both, S11+ will the premium most, and S11E will cheapest here. Regarding the screen size, the regular S11 will have 6.7 inch display, the S11+ will have largest 6.9 inch display, and the S11E is the smallest at either 6.2 or 6.4 inch.
Happily, every Galaxy S11 series smartphone will have curved edge display. The current S10E has flat display, but the upcoming S11E will also have curve display. Good for them but a but disappointing for S10E. Regarding the 5G support, the S11 and S11E will have two different models. One will have 5G support and other will have 4G only. Whereas the S10+ will have 5G only model, means no 4G only model here. Lastly, as every year this Galaxy S11 series will also launch in mid-February. Which speculates near the MWC event.
So that’s all the information this report contains. This leads us to the fact that the rumour went on the internet about the 20:9 aspect ratio on Galaxy S11 series is true. That rumour suggested that it has a dummy screen resolution of 384×584 , which is 20:9 ratio. Maybe we will see this only on S11+ , because 6.9 inch display is too big.
