After loving the Chinese products very much now the entire country is in the mood to oppose the products, and the anti-China emotion has emerged a lot. At this point of time, when people are trying to avoid Chinese products and we already know that the Indian government has banned 59 popular Chinese applications, now Delhi High Court has directed a new point to the popular e-Commerce platforms of the country.
The court has asked popular e-Commerce platforms such as Flipkart and Amazon India to mention the ‘Made In Country’ information in the product listing page and that means if a product is manufactured in China then the e-Commerce platforms need to mention it.
I think it is a good move because now people can able to know the manufacturer before they purchase the product from the e-commerce platform and this can also help people to avoid Chinese products. Having said that, we shouldn’t forget the reality as there are not many smartphones are available which are not manufactured or developed by a Chinese company, as all the popular smartphone brands are coming from China. Apart from some popular brands like Apple, Google, or Samsung.
Still, this is a good move because it will help to find an alternative, for example, if you want to purchase a switch board and if that particular item is manufactured by China then you can able to find an alternative and get one which is developed by India.
