Facebook continuously adding new features into their platform to connect their users in more easy and with cool ways, to make things more easy the company has added a new feature into the Messenger app.
With the latest update the social networking giant adds live location sharing feature into the Facebook Messenger app, this feature would make you able to share your location with friends and family members in real-time. This would essentially help you to be safe in a new place, or if you conducting any function and you can estimate how much time will take to reach your friends with their location.
The Facebook Messenger already supports the location sharing feature, but with the live location sharing feature it will show point moves along with you on the map so your dear and near ones can track your movement. This feature will be handy if you are in a new place, and this feature can be used in personal chat and group chat.
And this will be available for 60 minutes at a time, to enable the live location sharing feature you have to tap ‘More’ and select location in the chat menu. Users would then get an option to share the current location or enable live location sharing by tapping on the blue bar. You can also stop instantly by tapping the stop sharing feature.
Facebook rolling out this feature to Android and iOS platform, and the feature will hit on your device in coming days. Share your thoughts about the new feature in the comment box.
