Facebook Messenger is testing on Streak feature from Snapchat, but currently available to certain users.
Most of the Social media get inspired by Snapchat. Facebook is not a big deal. Facebook messenger will get streak feature which is one of the features on Snapchat. This is called as Streak Counts and the feature can be simply described. When a user messages a contact regularly for two days then a Lightning bolt emoji will appear. Then the user has to maintain chat regularly to keep it. If the user forgets to chat with the same contact then it is removed.

This feature is in development. We do not know whether it will showcase in the final version or not. In another perspective, this will make the user use the app on regularly. So Facebook is making this feature to regularly use the app. Let’s see what happens when we get this.
