Couple of hours ago, we updated about the Google Home Mini which is expected to launch on the event which Google scheduled on October 4. The Google Home Mini is actually light version of the company’s Google Home smart speaker, and the Mini version is said to be cost around $49. Other than this, there was no other information were available in that report. However, now we got Federal Communications Commission (FCC) listing of a device which adds more evidence.
The listing of FCC doesn’t mention the Google Home Mini name, but it shares a number which is similar to the original Google Home speaker filing, including its unique FCC ID “A4RH0A,” similar to the Google Home’s “A4RH0ME”, and it has a description which reads as a “media streaming device.”
Moreover, an image of the label location which suggest that the device is a round-bottomed, and it lacks the power connector cutout like on the bottom of the original Google Home. Apart from this, the listing includes 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi connectivity and Bluetooth LE, but the listing doesn’t reveal anything about the functionality of the device.

Let’s wait for more information about the device in coming days, and I’m pretty sure that we will get more information before the event.
