Till now we have seen a bunch of smartphones by Motorola in 2018. All those smartphones are from Moto G & E series. All these smartphones range from entry-level segment to mid-range segment. Now it’s time to move forward and look for something more premium as well as innovative. Here I am talking about Motorola Z series. Till now we have seen few leaks and rumors of the Moto Z3 Play. A few days ago we got a leaked rendered image of Moto Z3 Play, now it’s time to move to next level.
A set of Moto Z3 Play’s live images got leaked. These images show us the front, back, and about section of the device. Starting with the front, this Moto Z3 Play will sport the display having latest 18:9 aspect ratio. The display size will be around 6 inches and it will mostly have FullHD+ resolution. The back has a black color which is made up of glass. About section of the phone reveals the model number i.e. XT1929, Android 8.1.0 Oreo, and security patch of 1st May 2018.
Speaking about the placements, above the display, there’s earpiece, sensors, and a single front facing camera. Below the display only Motorola’s branding is present, nothing else. Moving to the back side, there is that traditional Motorola ring which contains a pair of 2 cameras along with dual tone LED flash. At the bottom side, the 16 pogo pin connector is present, to connect Moto Mods. Nothing else is present on the back as well.
Those who are wondering about the fingerprint sensor, previous leaks do suggest that it will be placed in the power button itself, just like Sony smartphones. So now I guess this will be true.
So that’s all the information we have as of now. The design looks interesting and the new placement of fingerprint sensor does create excitement. But the only question which sticks to my mind is if someone who had previous Moto Z smartphone along with Mod(s), and he needs to upgrade to Moto Z3 play, then how will he use the same Mods here as well? Because it’s difficult to use present 16:9 ratio Mods with the new 18:9 ratio smartphones. Well, what are your thoughts on these images? Do let me know in the comment section below.
