Over the past few weeks we got a ton of leaks of Motorola’s upcoming smartphones. These smartphones consists two line-ups, G & E. Now today, without any big marketing or hype, Motorola launched these smartphones. In the G line-up company launched three smartphones; Moto G6, G6 Play, and G6 Plus. All three smartphones differs from each other in many aspects. So let’s have a look what packs in these smartphones.

Moto G6:
This is like a mediator between other two smartphones in terms of specs. This Moto G6 sports a 5.7 inch Full HD+ IPS LCD Display with the latest 18:9 aspect ratio, (first time for Motorola) and having 2160 X 1080 pixel resolution. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. It comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 450 octa core processor clocked at 1.8 GHz along with Adreno 506 GPU inside. It has 3/4GB of RAM with 32/64GB of internal storage respectively, along with MicroSd Card support. It has Dual 12MP + 5MP Rear Camera Setup with f/1.8 lens, PDAF and dual tone LED flash. The video recording is supported up to 1080p at 60fps. The front camera is an 16MP shooter with with Group Selfie Mode, Beauty Mode and LED flash. It packs in a 3000mAh battery with Motorola’s 15W TurboPower Charging support.
It runs on latest Android 8.0 Oreo with almost stock UI experience. It will have all Motorola features like gestures. This time the back is also made up of glass i.e. Gorilla Glass 3 protected, along with P2i water resistance for casual water splash. The fingerprint sensor is a front mounted sensor. The speaker is placed in the earpiece itself with Dolby Atmos support. Regarding connectivity, it has 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, USB Type-C Port, and FM Radio. It weights at 167 grams and is 8.3mm thick. The phone will be available in Deep Indigo, Black, Silver, and Blush colour options.

Moto G6 Play:
This is the least powerful smartphone amongst all three. This Moto G6 Play sports a 5.7 inch HD+ IPS LCD Display with the latest 18:9 aspect ratio, and having 1440 X 720 pixel resolution. Display resolution is least in this device but is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. It comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 430 (427-USA) octa core processor clocked at 1.4Ghz along with Adreno 506 (308-USA) GPU inside. It has 2/3GB of RAM with 16/32GB of internal storage respectively, along with MicroSd Card support. It has 13MP Rear Camera with f/2.0 lens, PDAF and LED flash. The video recording is supported up to 1080p at 30fps. The front camera is an 8MP shooter with LED flash. It packs in a big 4000mAh battery with Motorola’s 15W TurboPower Charging support.

This is the most powerful smartphone amongst other two. This Moto G6 Plus sports a 5.9 inch Full HD+ IPS LCD Display with the latest 18:9 aspect ratio, and having 2160 X 1080 pixel resolution. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. It comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 630 octa core processor clocked at 2.2Ghz along with Adreno 508 GPU inside. It has 4/6GB of RAM with 64/128GB of internal storage respectively, along with MicroSd Card support. It has Dual 12MP + 5MP Rear Camera Setup with f/1.7 lens, 1.4mm micron pixels, PDAF, and dual tone LED flash. The video recording is supported up to 4k at 30fps. The front camera is an 8MP shooter with LED flash. It packs in a 3200mAh battery with Motorola’s 15W TurboPower Charging support.

- All these smartphones will launch in several markets by the time frame of two months.
So that’s all the information we have as of now. Personally speaking, the Moto G6 Plus looks very interesting as compared to other two. It will he a good competition to other competitive smartphones at a similar price if they improve their cameras as well as camera UI.
