The device costs $899.99 and it will be available from today onwards which means October 9. The device comes with up to 36 days in standard smartwatch mode that can be extended to 90 days with solar charging. The device features a 1.4-inch transflective memory-in-pixel (MIP) display.
It comes with a 51mm case made from a fiber-reinforced polymer and it also features a titanium bezel. The device also includes a built-in LED flashlight. It also comes with the new Garmin Epic feature that will enable you to monitor and review health and performance data from multi-day activities in a single continuous view.
The device also supports grade-adjusted pace workouts, which automatically adjust pace targets based on changes in elevation along the route. The device also comes with preloaded TopoActive maps. It uses Garmin’s SatIQ technology to automatically switch between multi-band GPS and lower-power GPS modes.
It also comes with the support of dynamic round-trip routing, which maps a new way back to your start point if you forget the original path. The device comes with popular health related features including an FDA-cleared ECG app, blood oxygen monitoring, and sleep tracking. The device also offers two-way text messages with the Garmin Messenger app, as long as it is connected to a phone.
