Google Assistant which was launched by Google last year, with the Pixel Smartphones and it was exclusive features for the Pixel devices. But the LG G6 which was launched yesterday in Barcelona at the MWC event, become the first non-Pixel smartphones to come with Google Assistant. And Google has announced that the feature will be rolled out to all the Android Smartphones which is running on Android Marshmallow v6.0 and above.

As I mentioned above, the Google Assistant feature was available on Pixel smartphones, along with Google Home, Google Allo and Android Wear. And now Google announced that the feature will be rolled out to all Android devices, which is running on Android Marshmallow v6.0 and above. The company will roll out the feature with an update to Google Play Service, and Google will start pushing the update from this week.

Similar to Google Now, you can press long on the home button of your smartphone or say OK Google to get access to the Google Assistant. As Google says that the Google Assistant will be available on all the Android devices which is running on Android Marshmallow and above, but devices which is not come with the Google Play Services will not get the feature.
