Google has updated the Google Meet platform and the same gets a full HD resolution for meeting recordings which means you can able to record your meetings in high resolution.
The latest update also brings the capability to send full HD video on all computers with 1080 pixels cameras as well. It is worth mentioning that this is disabled by default and you need to enable the feature manually by visiting the settings menu of the platform.
It is also said that Google Meet will be capable of automatically adjusting the resolution if you are device is bandwidth-constrained, and the full HD video for meeting recordings is now available for Google Workspace users with Business Standard and Plus, Enterprise Essentials and Essentials Plus, Enterprise Starter, Standard, and Plus, as well as Education Plus and the Teaching & Learning Upgrade. While the capability to send full HD video on computers with 1080p cameras is available for Google Workspace customers with Business Standard and Plus, Enterprise Starter, Standard, and Plus, Education Plus and the Teaching and Learning Upgrade, this capability will also be available with Enterprise Essentials and Essentials Plus, as well as Google One subscribers with 2TB or more storage space.
