As India adopted 5G in October, the popular telecom operators such as Jio and Airtel rolling out 5G services across the country and all the smartphone brands have updated their devices to unlock the 5G connectivity in the country as well. However, the search engine at Google is one of the last smartphone brands to enable the 5G connectivity on their devices in India but the same has been done with the latest beta update.
It was expected that Google will be rolling out of 5G connectivity on its devices in December but the same was delayed but now users who have set up the Android 13 QPR2 Beta 2 update on their Google Pixel 6 and Google Pixel 7 devices are reportedly able to connect to Jio and Airtel 5G networks in the country.
It is worth mentioning that the service is available in a beta update only and Google expected to roll out the stable update to all the users in the country in the coming weeks.
