Google Pixel XL 2 Codenamed ‘Taimen’ Might Be Manufactured By LG

Just few hours ago we posted that Google has cancelled the next generation Pixel XL which was codenamed as Muskie. & Google will release another phone codenamed as Taimen. Now we have a report that LG is going to manufacture this Taimen phone. So let’s have a look into this..

As you can see from the image above, there were some issues with earlier bug, maybe the Muskie ! But there’s a reply that says that “As per discussed, please close this bug and open another bug under Android > Partner > External > LGE > Taimen > Power”. Here the LGE prefers to the LG Electronics & after LGE, Taimen is mentioned. So it clearly states that the next Pixel XL will be made by LG. Google & LG has made other Nexus smartphones like Nexus 4, 5 & 5X. So it’s not a matter of surprise if Google will again make a new smartphone with LG.

So that’s all the information we have as of now. As of now we don’t know who will manufacture the smaller Pixel ‘Walleye’ & the larger variant Pixel XXL 2. But we will get to know about this shortly. As this is the leak of very early stage, I suggest you to take this report with a pinch of salt. Stay tuned with us for more information.
