During the Made by Google event, the search engine giant Google announced a new Recorder application and it is available only on the latest Google Pixel 4 series. The Recorder application is a really unique app, it can able to transcribe audio to text in real-time and there is no need to connect the device with the internet.
As I mentioned above, the application with the latest Pixel series but we got a new piece of information which says that the application will be available on the older Pixel smartphones very soon. The official Google account posted on Reddit that the Recorder application and it’s auto transcription ability will come to the old ‘Pixel Smartphones’ and that will happen through a future software update.
Having said that, the company did not reveal the timeline nor which device will get the application first, but we believe that the company will roll out the application to the Pixel 3 before the previous generations. Anyways it’s welcome news, we also expect that the company will bring the application to the other smartphone brands via listing it in the Google Play Store.
