At Google I/O 2017 held last month, Google released the preview built of Android O, next version of Android after nougat. The testing developer preview is going fine. Among some of the features & changes in Android O, there are changes in the emojis as well. Though they revealed those emojis in Google I/O & it’s also available in developer preview, but the list of new emojis was incomplete. Now today the list of Emoji 5.0 is officially revealed. So let have a look at them.
As you can see from the image below, there are a total of 51 new emojis. These emojis are more colourful & refined as compared to previous emojis in Android nougat & below. Some of these new emojis includes face with raised eyebrow, breast feeding, shushing face and vampire. You can look at the whole list from the image. As of now these emojis will only work for Android O devices. & Not all developers haven’t implemented these new emojis into there app. Only few apps like Google Chrome browser supports these emojis.
