It seems that the Mountain View company Google is all set to expand its hardware portfolio, as now we are getting a report which says that the company is working on Augmented Reality (AR) headset and it is codenamed Google A65.
Having said that, the tech giant Microsoft unveiled HoloLens first, which is built with the Augmented Reality (AR). and with the HoloLens, users can able to move while viewing the real world around you, while simultaneously seeing 3D digital imagery. This creates “mixed reality,” where a user can interact with both real-world and artificial elements at the same time. Having said that it is available only for enterprises and not for the general consumer.
Speaking about Google A65, there is no more information available but it is said that the device will be like the HoloLens, which means it will offer a wireless experience which will enable the user to wear the headset and move around without any issues. It is also said that, the device will be powered by Qualcomm processor but it is not clear whether the processor will be an existing or the company will develop a unique processor for the Google A65. Having said that, there is the rumor, which says that the Google A65 will be powered by QSC603, which is specially designed for the Internet of Things.
That’s not all, it also said that Third, the Taiwanese brand Quanta is involved in the developing of the Google A65, and the Quanta is also involved with a company called Meta in the development of A66. And the Meta already makes mixed reality headsets. So, now the question is the A66 is similar to the A65??? Well, we can’t say anything at this point of time.
Well, this is a sensible move by the Google. As the company gives huge importance to the Artificial Intelligence and Augmented Reality, so, having this kind of device is really great and the company already gave its efforts and tried with the Google Glass. Really looking forward to more information about the Google’s own AR headset.
