After rolling out the developer preview version of Android Oreo 8.1, Google has started to roll out the stable version of Android 8.1 from today.
The company rolled out the first developer preview of the Android 8.1 on October 25, and then the second preview rolled out just a week ago with lots of improvement and bug fixes and it was also the near-final release. And now the company has fulfilled if its promise to make the Android 8.1 public before the end of the year.
Today onwards, the Android 8.1 will be rolled out to the Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL, Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel C, Nexus 6P, and Nexus 5X, no side-loading or beta access required.
