Google continuously testing new user interface on Google Play Store for their users, today we have got first glimpse of new UI of Google Play Store’s My Apps screen.
In the new UI of Google Play Store, Google has changed My Apps section. It has now different sorting methods and different tab names, we can see in the screenshots. Google has replaced installed and all tabs with new tab names. Now Play Store have Updates, Installed and a new tab called Library. In the Updates tab, you will able to see all the apps which needs an update along with the size of the update and date of the update to know when was actually published. You can also update apps differently or you can and update all the apps together by tapping ‘update all’ button.
The installed tab will show you the complete list of applications which you have downloaded on your device, and it comes with few changes. First of all, there is a sorting method in the list. The applications will appear according to the alphabetical order, by size, by last update time, and by last used time. The apps also have new Open icon, which will let you immediately launch the app by tapping on it. Another change is now Play Store will show you the app size in the Installed tab and the update size in the Updates tab. And finally, it will show you when you have used the app last. In terms of minutes, hours, days or unknown.
We don’t know when will Google roll out the new update to everyone, and there are few more things to know, like how will the beta version of applications will show in the tabs. Anyways, let’s wait for Google’s next step. Stay tuned with us, as we will update once it official.
