Which gives extra security because Google sends a pass code to the registered mobile number.
Which is safe but creates mess, you have to enter the code every time you login which is really annoy. So, now Google makes things easier by adding prompt approval in 2-step verification, which means you can now set your mobile device in your account and avoid typing pass codes. Here’s how to

To add your device in your account you have to follow the following steps:
- Head to your account.
- Sign-in & security.
- Signing in to Google.
- 2-step verification.
- Scroll down and find Google Prompt.
- Now simply add your phone by clicking ‘ADD PHONE’.
That’s it! This will work on both on iOS and android devices. But you have to installed Google search app on both iOS and android devices, which handled by Play Services.
Now if you login on a different or new PC, Google will send the prompt to your mobile (which you set in 2 step verification) and approve it. And if your phone doesn’t have data connection at that time then you can do sign-in as usual.
