Internet has become an essential element of our life and we need a browser to login or to browse the pages on the Internet. Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox are the two very popular internet browsers that enable users to get connected with different services and pages. Both Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox are the most active internet browsers as well and now we got a new piece of information that suggests using the browsers will leave you at risk as both is having security issues.
The Indian government’s Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) has discovered many flaws in Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox browsers and says that the same will enable hackers to access the data of users and even execute arbitrary codes by breaching all security protections.
CERT-In issued a ‘high’ risk rating to the vulnerabilities that affected Chrome OS and Mozilla Firefox iOS users. As a result of these flaws, attackers can perform a DoS (denial of service) attack on targeted systems.
That will prevent users from accessing the system along with the other things and the victims will lose access to email, websites, online accounts, and other sources.
