Honor has officially introduced the latest Honor 500 series in the markets of China including the Honor 500 and 500 Pro. The devices feature a 200MP camera along with the power of the Snapdragon 8 series chips and a large 8000mAh battery among others. Everything about Honor 500 series
The latest Honor 500 and 500 Pro come with a 6.55-inch flat AMOLED panel along with a 1.5K resolution, a high pixel density of 460 PPI and a 120Hz refresh rate. The devices also support 10-bit color depth, and the devices also come with up to 6000 nits of peak brightness. They also feature the second-generation Motion Blur Relief Display tech and the same will automatically activate in moving vehicles and the devices also come with bezels measure just 1.05mm.

Honor has introduced the Honor 500 with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset while the Honor 500 Pro has the power of the Snapdragon 8 Elite mobile processor. The devices feature the Honor Phantom Engine and the same will be keeping the devices stable 120fps in a popular MOBA game. The vanilla variant comes with up to 12 GB RAM and 512 GB internal storage while the Pro variant comes with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB of internal storage.
Both devices run on the latest Android 16 operating system with MagicOS 10.0 on top. The devices also support cross-platform file sharing, including a new iOS Tap-to-Transfer option.
Speaking about the camera department, the latest Honor 500 series features a 200MP main camera using a 1/1.4-inch CMOS sensor, which Honor claims is the largest in its class at this price point. Both devices offer a 12MP ultra-wide camera with autofocus, while the Pro version adds a 50MP 3X telephoto portrait lens with optical image stabilization. The devices also come with a 50MP selfie camera with support for 4K video and a dedicated 3D depth camera for enhanced portrait shots.
Both devices come with a dedicated camera shortcut key on the side and the same will enable you to instantly access the camera app. The devices come with a massive 8000mAh battery along with 80W wired fast charging, 27W reverse wired charging, and 50W wireless charging (Pro only).
The devices feature IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance. The Pro variant also comes with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, while the regular model uses an optical one.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the pricing of the smartphone series starts at 2,699 yuan and the devices will be available in China from November 27.
