Alongside the two smartphones, Honor has launched its laptops in the global market and the devices are dubbed as Honor MagicBook 14 and 15.6, it actually comes with the same specifications as well as design which we saw last year when it was originally unveiled in the market of China. As the name suggests, the MagicBook is actually two variants in two different screen sizes 14 inch and 15.6 inch and the display supports 1080 pixels resolution, and offers a 16:9 aspect ratio. The device is coming with either an AMD Ryzen 3500U or 3700U and the same are based on AMD’s Zen+ architecture and built on a 12nm process. Both of them are integrated AMD Vega 8 and Vega 10 graphics, respectively.
Furthermore, the MagicBook will available in either 8GB or 16GB of DDR4 RAM and 256GB or 512GB of PCIe SSD storage. It also comes with two USB Type-A ports and also offers the Type-C port and the same also comes with the HDMI port and a 3.5mm combo audio and microphone jack.
The MagicBook also comes with the fingerprint scanner and that is embedded into the power button the device also has a key on the F-row, simply press it for the camera. The MagicBook 14 ships on 56Wh battery, while the 15.6 variant has a 42W. The device charge via USB PD at 65W, through the single Type-C port.
Pricing and availability
The pricing starts at EUR600 and the same will available in Europe. UK, Germany, France and the Check Republic are among the first markets.
