Honor has officially introduced its latest Honor Power smartphone in the markets of China and it is the world’s first phone with a large 8000mAh battery on the board. The newly announced Honor Power features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution along with a 120Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, up to 4,000 nits peak brightness, and a 3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. The device has the power of the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 mobile processor along with 8GB / 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB storage. The device runs on Android 15 with MagicOS 9.0 out of the box.
It also features HONOR’s self-developed C1+ communication chip and the same can offer stable communication in weak network environments such as garages, elevators, and buildings. The device also features Two-way Beidou satellite text messaging along with Ten-sided anti-fall shock-absorbing structure 2.0 and 360° waterproof body.
Speaking about the camera department, the latest Honor Power features a 50MP camera with f/1.95 aperture, OIS along with a 5MP ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture, 4K video recording, and the device also features a 16MP front camera with f/2.45 aperture. The device also features an in-display fingerprint sensor along with the stereo speakers.
Regarding the connectivity options, the device supports USB Type-C, 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 7 802.11be (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.3, GPS (L1+L5 dual frequency), and NFC. The device houses a massive 8000mAh battery with 66W SuperCharge fast charging.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the pricing starts at 1999 yuan and it will be available in China from April 18.
