The popular mobile chipset maker Qualcomm has officially introduced its new mobile processor dubbed the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 with artificial intelligence capabilities. So let’s get into the article to check out the full details of the new mobile processor.

The newly announced Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 mobile processor is built on 4nm process technology and the same features a 1+3+4 CPU architecture. The primary core operates at up to 2.63 GHz, while three performance cores run at 2.4 GHz, and four efficiency cores operate at 1.8 GHz.
The latest Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 also features around 15% improvement in CPU performance and an over 50% jump in GPU performance compared to the previous generation. It is also coming with 20% better power savings as well.
The chipset also comes with the power of artificial intelligence and the same includes Hexagon NPU that delivers a 60% improvement in AI performance per watt, introducing INT4 precision support for the first time in the 7-series as well.
The latest Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 comes with features including Google Ultra HDR image format support on Android 14, improved AI-based face detection, spatial audio with head tracking, and multi-device Snapdragon Seamless experiences.
The chipset will support for capturing from three cameras simultaneously, and a new “AI Remosaic” feature that eliminates grainy discoloration for higher-resolution results with more vivid colors. The mobile processor also comes with the Snapdragon X63 5G modem for up to 5 Gbps downloads, along with WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 for connectivity.
Regarding the availability, Honor and Vivo are among the plans to use the mobile processor in their upcoming offerings.
